On December 22, the staff of the Kostanay Regional Museum of Local Lore held an exciting lecture for students of the ISKra circle and their leader Levina K.S. The lecture was dedicated to a memorable event - the 330th anniversary of the first Kazakh commander Shakshak Zhanibek.
During the lecture, the students got acquainted with the life and work of the outstanding batyr of the XVIII century, learned about his important role in organizing resistance to the Dzungars and in establishing diplomatic relations with the Russian Empire. The bravery and wisdom of this outstanding leader has been preserved in the memory of posterity. Such events help to preserve and transmit historical heritage, as well as inspire the younger generation to study the history of their small Homeland.
